On November 17, 2021, after his visit to the headquarters of the Hope Channel studio at the Central Philippine Union Conference (CPUC) in Cebu, Pastor Ted Wilson extends his duty call in Mindanao, Philippines. Pastor Ted together with his wife, Mrs. Nancy Wilson, and the rest of the team, arrived at the Lagindingan Airport and have been welcomed with arms wide open by the directors and staff of the South Philippine Union Conference.
Upon his arrival, a formal welcome program for Pastor Wilson along with his party was held at the Garden Church of SPUC. The guests were astounded by the majestic songs performed by the SPUC Praise Team. The audience was also thrilled by the bountiful words from the City Mayor of Cagayan de Oro, Hon. Oscar Moreno with his daughter, Imee Moreno. After his talk about the historical background of the different regions and provinces in the southern Philippines, Pastor Ted Wilson offered a fervent prayer to Hon. Moreno and his daughter. Subsequent to the precious moment of Pastor Wilson and the City Mayor, an openhearted poem masterpiece was performed by Ayka Dayham, a second-grader from Golden Boulevard Adventist Academy, which gave Pastor Wilson and his colleague an adamant manifestation of how children of God respond to the global pandemic. Pastor Ted Wilson then gave his words of encouragement to all the audiences and to the live viewers.
It was indeed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be visited by the president of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, together with his team. Here in Northeastern Mindanao Mission, it is our great honor to give Elder Ted Wilson and his team, our warmest virtual welcome in the “land of promise.”
