Bad-as SDA Church holds a revelation seminar which started last August 21 until September 4, 2010. It was a joint effort of four churches respectively: Panhutungan, Badas, Timamana, and Tubod as one unit of churches in Badas District
Prior to this schedule , this unit had already a yearly evangelism plan and it would be in Badas for this year. It was then providential that when Pastor Jerson P. Arellano, Sabbath School and Personal Ministry Director of NeMM offered to conduct a Revelation Seminar in the said place and have it done in the church, the unit conceded to sponsor it. No paid laymen were hired but only the involvement of every small group member to invite friends and relatives whom they accompanied to the venue every night.
Supportive Brethren offered their vehicles to transport seminarians every night for free with the assistance of every member of the four churches to contribute an amount for the fuel. Every night they are seen personally driving their own vehicles with their faces glowed with joy for having a share of the Lord’s work.
So a big THANKS to all of vehicle owners: Mr. and Mrs. Danrevel T. Etac, Mr. and Mrs. Godofredo Pinto, Mr.and Mrs. Arnulfo Curias, Mr. and Mrs. Boogie Etac, Mr. and Mrs. Allan Uson, Mr. and Mrs. Renante Colobong, Mr Archie Andrague, and MECS Publishing House, Inc.,Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Cres Campos.
Praise God for the success of the seminar to have reaped 26 souls who were baptized last September 4, 2010 at the culmination day. Additional baptism would be on the occasion of the 4th Small Group Reaping Festival at NEMA on October 16, 2010
Noteworthy to the successful result of this effort was the high-spirited topics presented by the dynamic speaker Pastor Jerson P. Arellano. Mrs. Merlyn Arellano leading the nightly theme song surely has contributed to this unprecedented outcome. Of course the different working committees were blended in unity fulfilling their assigned task. From the Transportation Committee, Registration and Ushering, Music, Give –Away and Prizes, Light and Sound were doing their best.
Every night 10 lucky seminarians received give-aways if their names will be picked out from the box. These made the venue always packed with seminarians in attendance. The nightly quiz also attracted the seminarians hoping to receive the prize at the end of the seminar. The lecturer Pastor Jerson Arellano himself was the one who gave the remarkable award, a big ‘Water Dispenser’
An adage says, “ Where there is union, there is strength”. Whenever Evangelism or Crusade is done , it should be the work of everyone called into the truth, it should be every church member’s commission from God and must be seen blended in unity in the church, unit , or in the district. [Pastor Ralph A.De Domingo– Bad-as, District Pastor]
